Programme details
| Teachers: | The training of the designated workers shall be carried out by medical staff, in cooperation, where possible, with the emergency system of the NHS. In carrying out the practical part of the training, the doctor may have recourse to the assistance of nurses or other specialised staff. |
| Objectives: | The course aims to ensure the necessary training of workers in charge of implementing First Aid measures (Legislative Decree 81/08 and Ministerial Decree 388/03). |

| Educational Units: | CFU 1 – Form A – Ministerial Decree No 388/03, 4 hours; CFU 2 – Form B – Ministerial Decree No 388/03, 4 hours; CFU 3 – Form C – Ministerial Decree No 388/03, 4 hours. |
| Methodology: | The teaching activity is structured to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage health emergency situations in the workplace, in compliance with current legislation. The course explores the main first aid procedures, including intervention techniques to deal with sudden illness, trauma and other critical conditions pending the arrival of qualified rescue. The training course includes theoretical sessions supported by audiovisual aids specifically designed to facilitate learning and make the content clearer and more effective. In addition, ample space is dedicated to practical exercises, which are essential to become familiar with the main first aid maneuvers, such as cardiac massage (CPR), airway management and the application of dressings and bandages. Participants will have the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned through emergency simulations, carried out under the guidance of qualified instructors, to consolidate the skills necessary to intervene promptly and effectively. Please note that all courses are held in Italian and a good comprehension is required, both written and oral, in order to properly follow the lessons and actively participate in the exercises. |
| Programme: | CFU 1 – Form A – Ministerial Decree No 388/03, 4 hours. Training objective: at the end of the form, the Attaché will be able to alert the Relief System; Recognising a health emergency; activate first aid interventions and learn about the specific risks of the activity. The content of the training course complies with Annex 4 to Ministerial Decree No 388 of 15 July 2003. Alert the rescue system: a) Causes and circumstances of the accident (place of the accident, number of persons involved, state of the injured, etc.); b) communicate the aforementioned information in a clear and precise manner to the Emergency Health Care Services. Recognising a health emergency: 1) Injury scene: a) collection of information; prediction of obvious and probable hazards; 2) Assessment of the psycho-physical conditions of the injured worker: vital functions (wrist, pressure, breathing); b) state of consciousness; hypothermia and hyperthermia; 3) Basic notions of anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular and respiratory system; 4) Techniques of self-protection of rescue personnel. Implement first aid interventions: 1) Sustaining vital functions: a) positioning of the injured person and manoeuvres for the patency of the first airways; artificial respiration; c) external cardiac massage; 2) Recognition and limitations of first aid intervention: lipothymia, syncope and shock; b) acute pulmonary edema; c) asthmatic crisis; acute stenocardial pain; allergic reactions; convulsive crises; g) post-traumatic external bleeding and haemorrhagic buffering. Know the specific risks of the activity carried out. CFU 2 – Form B – Ministerial Decree No 388/03, 4 hours. Training objective: The aim of the module is to enable the acquisition of general knowledge on trauma in the workplace and on specific pathologies in the workplace. The content of the training course complies with Annex 4 to Ministerial Decree No 388 of 15 July 2003. Acquire general knowledge about trauma in work environments, 2 hours: 1) Anatomy of the skeleton; 2) Lusting, fractures and complications; 3) Trauma and lesions of the cranio-encephalic and spine; 4) Trauma and thoraco-abdominal injuries. Acquire general knowledge about specific pathologies in the workplace, 2 hours: 1) Injuries from cold and heat; 2) Injuries from electric current; 3) Injuries from chemical agents; 4) Intoxication; 5) Wounds torn bruised; 6) External bleeding. CFU 3 – Form C – Ministerial Decree No 388/03, 4 hours. Training objective: The aim of the module is to enable the acquisition of practical intervention skills in the event of accidents at work. The content of the training course complies with Annex 4 to Ministerial Decree No 388 of 15 July 2003. Acquire practical intervention skills, 4 hours: 1) Main communication techniques with the emergency system of the S.S.N; 2) Main first aid techniques in acute brain syndromes; 3) Main first aid techniques in acute respiratory failure syndrome; 4) Main techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation; 5) Main techniques of hemorrhagic buffering; 6) Main techniques of lifting, moving and transporting the traumatized; 7) Main first aid techniques in cases of accidental exposure to chemical and biological agents. |

| Our first aid training courses for companies in groups B and C comply with the provisions of Ministerial Decree 388/2003, ensuring compliance with the training content required by current legislation. In addition, they scrupulously follow the guidelines set out in Legislative Decree No 81/08, as amended, ensuring adequate preparation of workers in the company emergency room, in line with the provisions on health and safety in the workplace. |
