On July 7th, at the State-Regions Conference the new one concerning theidentification of the duration and minimum content of training courses for managers and employees of prevention and protection services.

This agreement revises the previous agreement of 2006, which up to now has regulated, among other things, training courses for managers and employees in the prevention and protection service in accordance with previous legislation on health and safety in the workplace.

This agreement in Annex A, immediately after a preliminary reference to Article 32(2) of Legislative Decree No 81/2008 and a clarification of the validity of the training in the following manner: e-learning, is structured as follows:
– 1. Identification of additional educational qualifications valid for the purpose of exempting attendance at training courses;
– 2. Identification of trainers and accreditation system;
– 3. Requirements of teachers;
– 4. Organization of the courses;
– 5. Teaching and learning methodology;
– 6. Structure, objectives and contents of the training course;
– 7. Evaluation of learning;
– 8. Recognition of previous training (Former State-Regions Agreement 26 January 2006) with respect to the new articulation of Module B.
– 9. Updating;
– 10. Starting date of the update;
– 11. Attestations;
– 12. Supplementary and corrective provisions to the discipline of training in the field of health and safety at work;
– 13 Entry into force.

In addition, the following have also been annexed to Annex A:
– Annex I: List of degree classes exempting students from attending the training courses referred to in the first sentence of Article 32(2) of Legislative Decree No 81/2008.
– Annex II: Requirements and specifications for conducting health and safety training in e-learning mode.
– Annex III: Implementation of Article 32(1)(c) of Law No 98/2013 converting Decree-Law No 69/2013.
– Annex IV: Methodological indications for the design and delivery of courses.
– Annex V: Table summarizing the criteria of the training aimed at subjects with roles in the field of prevention.
This Agreement relating to theidentification of the duration and minimum content of training courses for managers and employees of prevention and protection services, In fact, while not disrupting the training courses for the employees and managers of the Prevention and Protection Service, it introduces significant new elements.

In the structure of the new agreement, the guidelines towards a greater attention to the aspects of training for health and safety figures in the workplace can be seen to be applied, also in the light of a strengthening of training as a primary preventive measure.
