On the website of the National Labour Inspectorate (INL) is available the revision of the Legislative Decree No 81 of 9 April 2008 in December 2014 by D.O.T. ING. GIANFRANCO AMATO, DOTT. ING. FERNANDO DI FIORE. Although the version does not play an official role, it is certainly the most comprehensive and best organized compendium on health and safety in the workplace.
In the current revision the novelties are:
- Amended Articles 28(3-bis) and 29(3) as provided for in Article 13 of Law No 161 of 30 October 2014 laying down ‘Provisions for the fulfilment of obligations arising from Italy’s membership of the European Union – European Law 2013-bis’, published in OJ No 261 of 10 January 2014, which entered into force on 25 January 2014;
- The Executive Decree of 22 January 2014 has been replaced by the Executive Decree of 29 September 2014 concerning the ninth list of persons authorised to carry out the periodic checks referred to in Article 71(11). (notice published in Official Gazette No 230 of 3 October 2014);
- Inserted the Interministerial Decree of 9 September 2014 on simplified templates for drawing up the security operational plan, the security and coordination plan and the work file, as well as the
- replacement security plan. (notice published in Official Gazette No 212 of 12 September 2014).
- Inserted the Interministerial Decree of 22 July 2014 ‘Provisions applying to musical, cinematographic and theatrical performances and to trade fairs, taking into account the particular requirements linked to the performance of the relevant activities’;
- Replaced the Executive Decree of 31 March 2014 with the Executive Decree of 21 July 2014 concerning the fourth list of entities authorised to carry out live work in Category II and Category III systems;
- Questions Nos 10 to 15 of 11 July 2014, 16 to 23 of 6 October 2014 and 24 to 25 of 4 November 2014 have been added.
- Removal of the rejection of point (f) in Article 69(1).
